True Destinations was created by Kurt and Bri Honer out of a lifelong love of boating and the outdoors. They grew up around the water and have spent decades owning and running all kinds of boats, from fishing boats and pontoons to tritoons and cabin cruisers.

Cape Coral Boat Rental FAQs
How much does it cost to rent a boat in Cape Coral?
Pricing depends on the boat, the season, and how long you want to be out. Booking direct with us gets you our best rate, because the third-party apps add their own service fees on top. Contact us for a current quote and availability.
Can I add a captain instead of driving?
Yes. A captain is $100 per hour for up to 6 guests, with a small added fee per person above 6. It is a popular choice for first-time boaters and anyone who just wants to relax and enjoy the day.
Do I need a boating license in Florida?
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 needs a Florida Boating Safety Education ID card to operate the boat, which you can earn through an approved course online before your rental. If no one in your group qualifies, our captained option solves it.
Where can we take the boat?
Popular runs from Cape Coral include the canals, Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Picnic Island for dolphin watching, Cayo Costa, and the local sandbars. We help you plan a route around the day you want and the conditions.
Do you deliver the boat?
Yes. Delivery is free at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral. We also deliver to homes and launches in Cape Coral for a flat fee, and to other Southwest Florida locations for a fee based on distance. Tell us where you are and we will send a quote.
How many people can go on the boat?
Our tritoons seat up to 12 guests comfortably.
Can beginners drive the boat?
Yes. Tritoons are stable and forgiving, and every rental starts with a hands-on orientation. If you would rather not drive, add a captain and enjoy the ride.
Is fuel included?
The boat leaves with a full tank. You cover the fuel you use and return it full, or a refueling charge applies.
What is included with the rental?
Coast Guard safety gear, adult life jackets, a cooler with ice, dock lines and fenders, and a full tank at departure, plus a hands-on orientation. Child life jackets are available on request, though we suggest bringing your own for kids under 90 pounds for the best fit.
