Founded by Kurt and Bri Honer, True Destinations pairs decades of hands-on boating experience with clean, well-kept boats, convenient delivery, and personal service. Whether you want to drive yourself or add a captain, our goal is simple: a comfortable boat and an easy rental from start to finish.
A Passion for Boating Became True Destinations
For Kurt and Bri Honer, boating has always been about making memories, exploring new water, and spending time with the people who matter most. They grew up around the lakes of northern Minnesota, and over the years that love of the water grew into a business built to help others enjoy the same freedom.
Today they spend their time on the water of Southwest Florida, sharing the canals, the coast, and the islands with guests who want a great day out without the hassle of owning a boat. When they tell you where the dolphins are or which sandbar is worth the run, it comes from actually being out there, not from a brochure
Decades of Boating Experience
Kurt and Bri bring more than 20 years of personal boat ownership and over 15 years of experience with boat rentals and captained trips. They have owned and run just about everything, from fishing boats and pontoons to tritoons and cabin cruisers, so they know what makes a day on the water comfortable, safe, and easy.
That experience shows up in the details: boats that are clean and well maintained, a clear hands-on orientation before you leave the dock, honest local advice on where to go, and someone reachable if you have a question while you are out. It is the difference between renting from a faceless chain and renting from people who actually know the water.
Drive Yourself or Add a Captain
Every group is different, so we make it easy either way. Take the helm and captain the boat yourself, tritoons are stable and forgiving, and we walk you through everything before you head out. Or add one of our captains for 100 dollars per hour for up to 6 guests, with a small added fee per person above 6, and simply enjoy the ride. It is a popular choice for first-time boaters and anyone who just wants to relax.
Wherever you are staying, we bring the boat to you. Delivery is free at Four Freedoms Park in Cape Coral, with delivery to homes, launches, and other Southwest Florida spots available too. And booking direct with us gets you our best rate.
